PERTH

my uncle's house...
Time passed so fast I can't believe that it's been almost three months since my arrival to Jakarta. I've had a really fun holiday in Perth! I know that it's been really really late, but still,  I want to share the adventure with you.
Our way to departure hall

On 8th September, the departure day, I had to wake up at 3 o'clock in the morning to catch the plane....... damn! The sky was so dark and I felt really really sleepy and dizzy. Anyhow, I had to wake up! That was a busy morning, mum was washing the dishes and locking the doors, dad was taking the luggage, and at last, we're on our way to the airport.

Fortunately, it didn't take a long time for us to board on the plane and after a few hours of flight, we've finally reached our destination, Perth!! :D

It rained heavily when my uncle, dad's elder brother, picked us up from the airport, and on our way to his house, I saw this rainbow and I smiled: Good omen!! :)

Anyway, I'll tell you guys about my daily activity there!

Day 1: Stayed at home, my eldest cousin joined us for dinner

Day 2: Visited Mindarie Beach & went to Jundaloop

Day 3: Went to Yenchap National Park & Yenchap National Cave

Day 4: Went to IKEA and Kathmandu, Had a dinner at Dragon    Palace ( absolutely love the chinese food! yummy!)

Day 5: Went to Freemantle Beach, had lunch at Cicerello's, visited Scarborough beach

Day 6: Visited spotlight, Anaconda,  went around the city, David Jones and visited Kikki K. I ate snow crab for dinner! yum..yum..!

Day 7: Went to Botanical Garden and King's Park, went to city      with my cousin,Calvin. We had lunch at Taka's (which is a very crowded Japanese restaurant). Then, I visited general museum and saw preserved animals, next, I went to Kikki K., Johnson, Borders, and David Jones looking for stamps.

Day 8: Visited Mandura, had lunch at Nino's fishbar ( delicious fish and chips!), went to spotlight and bought a brown inkpad.

Day 9: Went to Whitford, visited Lincraft

Day 10: Whhoaa... last day.....I'm so sad...:( Visited Malaga Market, went to nearby craft shop and library, had dinner at a Thai restaurant called Basil leaves.

By the way, here are the things that I like the most from Perth:

 - The food is absolutely delicious!!!! My aunt is a obviously a good cook

- I love the craft stores!! As you might have noticed, I tried to visit a craftstore almost everyday! :P When I first visited spotlight and found that many cardmaking supplies, I was really really excited!!!!!

By the way, there is a small craftstore near my uncle's house which I really like, and the owner was really friendly.....one day, I went there, and she's like having a crafting lesson in a room in her store and then she said to me: "If you have finished, just call me!" I didn't understand what she's trying to tell me at first because of her strange accent, the way she pronounce 'call' is so weird it's like 'kowul'.

Can you see the pink bird over there? It's called Gala

Birthday Week

This week is a birthday week....:D Last Thursday was my friend, Jefferson's birthday. Yesterday was my dad's birthday, and today is my bestfriend, Nicole's birthday.

Nicole, Andree, and Aeidy surprised Jefferson by blindfolded him when school was over and then when he opened the blind fold.....TADAA!!! There came his birthday cake and his b'day present....:D Actually, I didn't join this "b'day surprise party" cuz I had a Mandarin lesson right after school time.

For my dad's birthday, Mum and I planned to give him a birthday cake but unfortunately, one of my father's bank has already sent him one. Eventually, my mum  asked him, what did he want for his present, and then he finally said that he wanted a new speaker for his computer. So that'll be the present for his 49th birthday!

Nicole celebrated her b'day party at a restaurant in Emporium, and Jesslyn and I planned to get there before the party starts to buy Nicole a present. However, Jesslyn was having a test at her course and she texted me to buy the present by myself because she'll finish her lesson later than she has expected. My mum helped me choose the polo shirt, and after I got the one I think that Nic'll like, I quickly paid it and went to her party. GUess whaT? I was  30 minutes late!

When I got home, I got a message from Nicole. She said that the shirt fits her nicely and she likes it! Oo.. yay!!!:D

Performance day

Hi people! You know what? Although I haven't got the Mary Celeste book,  my teacher allowed me and my team to use that script!:D Fiuuhhh........ what a relief!

Anyway, our drama is about the mystery of the ship of Mary Celeste. It is said that on 4th December 1872, the crews of a ship called Dei Gratia founded Mary Celeste unmanned and abandoned. People didn't know what did happened, and I thought that it would be interesting if there are theories of what has happened in the plot. There are actually six  possibilities in the script, they are : ergotism, seaquake, piracy, and the present of UFO, E-T, and a sea monster.

Actually, last Thursday  me and my friend performed the Mary Celeste drama, and it was a huge success! :) Me and my team got perfect score for our properties and costumes. And that's because we made a huge boat, an UFO and a sea monster from cartons.

We've had so much fun making the properties! It is such a shame that I forgot to take photos of them !XD...

The invitation

I'm not a religious person, I am not a frequent church goer, and actually, I never go to church on my own will. Personally, I think that if you believe in God, and if you want to worship Him, it doesn't matter how often you go to church, but what does matter is what's in your heart.

Anyway, lately, one of my bestfriends, Claudia, has been asking me to go to church with her. I was like, Um...ok...let's see... Actually, it's been almost a month since she first asked me, and you know what? Until now, everytime she meets me, she'll say:" Woi, Da, ke gereja yok!"

Eventually, for some reason, I am  finally going to go to her church this week.

By the way, today, she brought a shopping bag full of the church's agenda brochures. And she was busy distributing them to our  friends. I was moved by her determination and I was willing to help her, Then I thought, I have a blog, haven't I?

So guys, in this archive, I want to tell you people about the church's agenda...
