Card Challenge #1: Masculine Cards

My friend who's a frequent reader of this blog thinks that my cards are actually too girly and she asked me to make some masculine cards, which I found rather hard to make. After spending quite a lot of time thinking, finally I came up with some ideas and made these three cards. I found out that the trick to make cards for boys is to keep it simple, use selected pattern paper that suits boys, and making sentiment as the focal point of your card. Enjoy! :)

Thanx, Doc!

Hello everyone. I forgot to show you guys these two cards that I gave my dentist and nurses. Actually I made them in pink and purple color just because my dentist loves those two colors. She has a dental clinic painted with pink and purple, furniture in pink and purple, uniform also in pink and purple.     (Pink and purple used to be my fav colors when I was younger, however I prefer grey and navy blue now) Enjoy!

First day without braces, oh yeah!

After two years of suffering, multiple tooth extractions, occasional cankers, countless visits to dentist, finally, today, on the 27th of May, I got rid of my braces!! Such a happy feeling! Actually it feels kinda weird though, like something's missing.  I'm still not used to such straight and smooth teeth :P, simply can't stop licking them across or grinning to myself. Sayonara protruding teeth!

P.S. My dear sister left a comment here; she thought that I should put my teeth image in this post, and so I did. I wouldn't do a 'before and after' photos though, it would be too humiliating :P

DF Review

Hi everyone! Deep in the forest set of cards ended yesterday. What do you think of the cards? Easy to make, huh? You only need a set of animal stickers, a circle punch, a black pen, and a few pattern paper to make all seven cards.

Anyway, you might want to take a closer look at the sentiment and sticker on each card. The deliberate misspellings, such as 'sweet' became 'tweet', 'dear' became 'deer' add interest to the cards, making them more funny.

Anyhow enjoy, and happy holiday! :)

Deep in the Forest

Good morning everyone, it's time to show you all a whole new collection of cards :). This set of cards I made were intended for small children, with cute images and simple, colorful, clean design, they were also the easiest cards to make. Just like Travel Collection, I've made seven cards, and I'll show you guys a single card each day for a week. Enjoy getting card ideas for a whole seven days (starting today), happy card making! :)

TC Review

Hello everyone, how do you like the cards? Today, the last card of Travel Collection set has been published, so let us do some review....

This collection of cards have sort-of earthy colors on them. Basically, each card has one sticker from the set of handmade stickers I showed you on the past archive. The sentiments on every cards were from rub-ons, which I found really useful ( you don't have to have sentiment stamps if you have rub-ons). So my father had this bunch of old, yellowed rub-ons in various sizes and fonts, and it was really fun combining those different letters on cards. The set of stamps that I used for decorating the card were from the KaiserCraft Le Chateau stamp set.

Okay, so those are the cards from Travel Collection set, enjoy! :)
